Dell Aero Smartphone Hits the Internet - For AT&T Only

Today, Dell released the Aero, an Android-driven smartphone for the US, available only on their Website. Dell promotes the Aero as “one of the lightest Android smartphones” and will support Adobe’s Flash. It also has a multi-touch, 3.5” screen and a virtualized keyboard.

Other features include:

  • 5 MP camera, with auto focus, flash, 8x digital zoom and video at 30 fps.
  • POP3, IMAP4, IMAP Idle, Webmail and Microsoft ActiveSync email support
  • SMS and MMS messaging
  • USB 2.0 and Bluetooth connectivity
  • GPS feature
  • DRM and full media player with content management and support for AAC, MP3, WMA, MPEG, 3GP, MP4 and more
  • Video streaming
  • 2GB internal storage
  • 624MHz processor
  • Handwriting support

Pricing starts at $299.99, but Dell said the Aero is available for as low as $99.99 with a two-year contract from AT&T. Read more on Dell’s Website.
