Greener Gadgets Conference Coming to New York City

Are you into gadgets and going green? If so, you may want to check out the Greener Gadgets Conference in New York City on February 25th.

This one-day conference “tackles all of the issues surrounding energy efficiency and sustainable design, from innovative advances in packaging and product manufacturing to end-of-life recycling solution.”

One of the most popular aspects of the conference is the Greener Gadgets Design Competition. This year’s competition features 18 entries with gadgets ranging from a hand-powered mouse, a solar powered tent that allows campers to charge their electronic devices, a subwoofer made from recycled tires, a dashboard that allows homeowners to monitor their energy usage, and much more.

At the time of this posting, the entries with the most votes include the Go Mechanical Charger (with a little over 16,000 votes), the Fair Energy Clock (approximately 8,100 votes), and the Smart Grid Home Controller (nearly 7,700 votes). Visit Greener Gadgets’ official website to review the various entries and vote for your favorite green gadget. Voting ends on February 12th so don't delay.
