Weird iPhone App of the Day: Pocket Heat

It's winter and it's cold! Even Florida, the so-called Sunshine State, has experienced freezing temperatures this record-breaking season. Thankfully, iPhone app developers foresaw the pain of winter chills and created Pocket Heat.

Pocket Heat forces the CPU of your iPhone or iPhone Touch to run at maximum capacity, thus warming the device for your hands (how handy - ha!). According to one app marketer, the benefits don't end there. Pocket Heat could also serve as a tool for teaching children not to touch hot surfaces. Brilliant!


Critics claim the app drains batteries and could possibly damage phones, but at only 0.99 why not give it a try?

Obsolete!
